From artist Jennifer McGregor’s ‘Hills’ series, this work features her process of poured acrylic and translucent layering of pigments, with which she creates abstracted forms that echo vast optimistic landscapes. The natural patterning, organic forms and magical color in these paintings combine to evoke imaginary worlds in which she strives to eclipse the ugliness of the everyday and celebrate beauty, grace, memory, joy, and connection.
